Before calling online retail her playground, Ria has gone from the luxury shop floor to the buying field, all in her signature comfy classic style. Her taste can be surmised through her favorite things – art, travel, pearls, macarons, and all things impossibly French.  She is a blend of these with a surprisingly pleasant contrast. Ria is also inspired by local design and can occasionally be heard singing along to Jay-Z. So much for being high-brow!

Marina is an information facility: she absorbs all kinds of facts, from pop culture trivia to lyrics to historical knowledge on ruins, for no reason. She is also unhealthily obsessed with Coldplay, baby animals and all things (well, people) Spanish. Her ultimate goal in life is to get paid to do what she loves: buy pretty things (checked off now, thanks to AVA!), see new places, plan awesome children's parties and visit the world's best aquariums.

 Marcelo started out as a mobile phone game developer long before touch phones were even heard of. He also created several casual online games with Filipino themes. Now, he helps AVA to develop and maintain its applications and website. When not at work, Marcelo is a home buddy, who spends time cooking, reading, and gardening.

Franz is responsible for creating and maintaining applications for the website ranging from user registration, account management, product presentation, and ordering optimization. He easily keeps his cool under pressure, especially on days before a sale launch - just don't play Justin Bieber music or joke about his dog, Nacho.

Rafi is a proud Cebuano, IT instructor and business technologist. In AVA, he develops and maintains AVA's core business: "The Website" and its back processes: "The CMS". 

His "passive-agressive"-ness has helped him delve into fast-food, agriculture,  animal husbandry and now fashion. He is also your everyday, friendly guy who plays badminton, skydives, surfs, and reads comics.

Oliver has the most boring job in AVA: strategy, finance, accounting, part-time delivery boy. Prior to founding AVA, he lived and worked in Singapore, Bangkok and Boston. He used to work with Procter & Gamble, where he had the most interesting year of his life: selling Whisper feminine care pads. No, he didn't have to test the product.
